Amphan Relief work Report in Sagardwip & Ramkrishnapur–Phase II (20th & 21st June, 2020)
We have distributed dry ration kits (Potato – 3kg, Onion – 1kg, Soya Chunks – 500gm, Lentil – 1kg, Mustard Oil – 1L, Salt – 1kg, Puffed Rice- 1kg, Biscuits( Marrie gold big) – 1pkt, Egg – 10 pcs, Turmeric – 100 gm, Coconut Hair Oil – 100gm, Towel – 1pc, Soap – 2 pcs, etc = Approx. Rs. 700/- per family) among 32 families (~130 heads) in Ramkrishnapur Panchayat (Barbaria, Handra, , Manikagram ) and Sagardwip (Dhablat Lalpur, Narayani Abad ), south 24 Parganas as part of Cyclone Amphan Relief services- Phase II on 20th and 21st June 2020.
We have started house re-pairing work for an additional 10 families in Patharpratima, Bamankhali villages in Sagardwip. We are also going to start house re-pairing work for another 10 families in Ramkrishnapur Panchayat.
The survey for Solar Lantern distribution in G & L-plot Island of Sundarban areas has already been completed and it requires a minimum of 100 pcs but due to a shortage of funds, we have placed an order of 50 pcs (each costing ~Rs. 1200/-). Therefore, we are seeking for your generous support.

Rs. 700/- per family) among 47 families (238 heads) in Natendrapur, Narayani Abad, Gangasagar, Patharpratima, Lalpur villages of Sagardwip, south 24 Parganas as part of Cyclone Amphan Relief services- Phase I on 2nd and 3rd June 2020. Five students of the Vivek-Uday family are working assiduously and untiringly.
We have also provided Rs. 3000/- each to five families for house repairing work. Phase –I relief work at Ramkrishnapur Panchayet is also going, we will send you an update once it is completed. We will keep updating you about our next phase of work including house-repairing work, and distribution of study materials as part of the rehabilitation work.

Rs. 700/- per family) among 33 families (138 heads) in Ramkrishnapur Panchayat, Kulpi, south 24 Parganas as part of Cyclone Amphan Relief services- Phase I on 6th and 7th June 2020. Five students of the Vivek-Uday family are working assiduously and untiringly.
