Dear Well-Wisher..
Please accept our heartfelt love. Hope, you are leading a happy and peaceful life by the grace of the almighty. Vivek-Uday Students’ Welfare Society, a registered voluntary Students’ Welfare Organization, has started its journey from the year of 2001 at Belgharia, Kolkata-700056, West Bengal, inspired by Swami Vivekananda’s idea of “Man making education”. The organization has been actively working for more than one decade by providing proper environment to support under-privileged meritorious students from various parts of West Bengal, intending to pursue their higher education and also for their holistic development. Presently, as many as 50 students have become successful and well established in various fields not only in India but also abroad. In spite of the limited facilities, our organization has been involved in various welfare activities for the physical, mental and spiritual development of our students as well as various relief works including girl's scholarship.
This is the need of the hour to build a Permanent Home for Vivek-Uday to overcome the challenges facing in a rented house and also to accommodate more students with the desired ‘Ashramik’ ambience. That is why we have collectively taken an initiative to build/ buy a Permanent Home in and around Kolkata *within 6 months* exclusively for this purpose.
Therefore, it is our humble request to you if you could donate generously for this noble cause (may be one time or on regular basis). Any amount of donation will be gratefully and thankfully accepted. All donations to us are exempt from Income tax u/c 80G. Cheques/ draft should be drawn in favour of “Vivek Uday Students' Welfare Society” payable at Kolkata.
We have options to dedicate the donations as per the donor’s wish in *granite memorial plaque* at the building, anyone interested please reach out to us separately.
